Mr. Olugbenga J. Oluwaniyi is a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of ANOH Gas Processing Company Limited (“AGPC”), nominated by NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company Limited (“NGIC”), a subsidiary of NNPC Limited and was appointed to the Board of AGPC on the 23rd of March 2024.
Olugbenga J. Oluwaniyi is a Chartered Accountant with a degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

Olugbenga’s more than thirty years career spans different industry experiences as a professional accountant with extensive exposure to diverse Oil and Gas Accounting and Finance processes with core strengths in Treasury Management, Budgeting, and Project Accounts/Finance.

His foray into the Oil and Gas industry commenced in 1999 when he joined National Oil Plc (now Conoil Plc) as a Procedures Accountant after garnering experience in the Financial Services and Manufacturing sectors. He later joined the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 2005 where transversed different roles over time as Deputy Manager Funding, Manager Banking Operations, Manager Management Information Systems (MIS) and later as General Manager, Treasury.

He was seconded to Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) in March 2019 as General Manager Finance. In this role, he coordinated the company’s Finance and Accounts Division and through the lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic. An extensive period of Business Continuity Protocol during which operational performance was sustained and key achievements recorded by the company, including taking FID and achieving Financial Close on a USD3billion debt facility from a consortium of local and international financial institutions for the company’s Train 7 expansion project.

Upon his return to NNPC in September 2022, he became the Head, Risk Management & Insurance for the Group, and later, Executive Director Finance at NNPC Engineering & Technical Company Ltd (NETCO). He is currently the Chief Finance & Investor Relations Officer for NNPC Limited
