Kabiru is an accomplished Human Resources practitioner and capacity management expert with an exemplary career spanning nearly 20 years. Significant experience gained in delivering cross-functional human capital and administrative projects in the Oil & Gas sector.

Kabiru joined Mobil as a Field Human Resource officer. As his career progressed as Project Admin and Personnel Officer at NETCO (National Engineering and Technical Company Limited) between 2003-2009. He was the Learning event Administrator/Learning Adviser from 2009 to 2017. He became the Manager Human Resources and Admin of West Africa Gas limited (WAGL) from 2017 to 2021, he designed and implemented specific human resources manual and updated policy and process across all areas and as a first line representative to project the right image of the organization.

Prior to joining AGPC, he was the Deputy Manager, Consultancy at NNPC Leadership Academy (NLA) between April to November 2021 where he contributed the development of high impact capability development and human performance improvement strategies aligned with NNPC’s overall strategic direction.

Kabiru obtained his Masters’ degree (MSc) in Sociology from the University of Lagos and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sociology from Usman Dan Fodiyo University, Sokoto. He is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (UK) and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
