Biography
Fred Asoluka is an astute professional Chartered Accountant, internal Auditor with vast knowledge in the accounting, auditing and management space spanning twenty-seven (27) years in the Upstream and Downstream activities of NNPC Value chain as well as Joint Venture operations.
He is a manager and a strong advocate of due process, with a flair for continuous process improvement and modernization, as well as an insatiable desire for transparency, accuracy, performance, and excellence.
Fred joined NNPC in 1990 as an accountant in the erstwhile Eleme Petrochemicals Company
Limited (EPCL). He rose through the ranks within NNPC to become the Manager Audit, Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemical Company (KRPC). At NNPC, he led various audit assignments as well as engagements between NNPC and oil and gas industry partners. Prior to joining AGPC, he was the General Manager Audit at the NNPC Corporate Headquarters where he was responsible for the Preparation of Annual GRC Work Plan, reviewing all Audit reports for NNPC Board Audit Management Committee (AMC); as well as Risk management/value creation and cost containment.
Fred obtained his B.Sc. (Accounting) from the University of Port Harcourt and an MBA from the University of Lagos. He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He is passionate about the Guidance & counseling of physically challenged persons, championing the course of the physically challenged, and engaging in charitable and benevolent services.
